The claim comes a day after the Court dismissed a case filed by the law society of Kenya challenging the creation of the CAS post.

Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has warned of looming disappointments over the appointments of Chief Administrative Secretaries.

In a tweet on Friday, the Senator claimed that a colleague had informed him of the plan to loot a state agency after landing an appointment in the health docket.

"Expect Many disappointments in the next few days as the list of Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS) is published … a former colleague has been promised the health docket to rob Kemsa Kenya and eventually make it a storage facility!" He tweeted.

The claim comes a day after the Employment and Labour Relations Court dismissed a case filed by the law society of Kenya challenging the creation of the CAS post.

Justice Monica Mbaru on Thursday ruled that the public service commission followed the due process of the law in creating and recruiting the intended office holders.

“Employment and Labour Relations court delivers judgment on the CAS case and finds that the PSC followed the correct procedure in setting up the office. The petition by the Law Society of Kenya is dismissed,” read the statement.

The latest ruling is a huge win for Ruto who was keen on rewarding his close allies who stood with him and campaigned for his presidential bid.

The CAS post has been facing legal headwinds so much so that it was at one time declared illegal.

The court ruling now gives Ruto an opportunity to make some appointments in which he will most likely award his loyalists.
