Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has revealed that he does not spend a lot of money on his wife’s hair.
Speaking on Thursday, March 2 at KICC in Nairobi, Gachagua hailed his wife Pastor Dorcas for being humble and not troubling him.
The Second in Command revealed that he spends only three thousand shillings to make his wife’s hair.
“Si mmeona mtu wangu Pastor Dorcas, si hata mimi nilijaribu kuangalia. Unajua ni lazima upange maneno yako na utafte ule mama hana kelele mingi. Mimi sina shida, bibi yangu ni pastor hana mahitaji mingi, elfu tatu ya nywele ametosheka,” Gachagua revealed.

At the same time, the DP promised that the economy will be fixed so that other Kenyan women can have money to make their hair.
“Tunataka turudishe uchumi akina mama waweke kitu kwa mfuko. Hawa mama wetu wanafaa kupata kitu kwa mfuko wawachane na mambo ya kuweka vitambaa kwa kichwa wavae tu siku za kanisa. Hizi zingine zote waende town wasukwe wakae vizuri,” said Gachagua.
Gachagua also lamented how the economy has affected many families noting that women no longer have money to bring gifts to their kids.
“Your excellence the President umetuambia hii uchumi irudishwe pahali ilikua zamani. Zamani mama akienda sokoni alikua anarudi anapata watoto wamemngojea kwa gate kwa sababu kuna kitu amebeba, siku hizi mama anakuja bila kitu na hakuna mtoto wa kumkaribisha,” he stated.
