COVID-19 cases in Kenya have risen to 95,431 in the past 24 hours after 236 test positive.

The new infections are from a sample size of 3,773 tested, according to Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe.

Four patients succumbed to the disease raising the number of deaths from the virus in Kenya to 1,652.

212 patients have recovered from Covid-19 raising the total number of discharges to 76,270.

In his Thursday, December 24 20202 statement, CS Kagwe said 173 patients were from the home-based care and 39 discharged from various hospitals.
