Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has announced that there will be anti-government protests every Monday and Thursday.

Speaking on Tuesday, March 21 in Nairobi, the former Prime Minister stated that the weekly demos would be the second face of their protests.

“In the second face of our protests and response to public demand, we shall now hold protests every Monday and every Thursday beginning next week,” said Raila.

Raila had earlier announced that he would be holding the protests every Monday until their demands are met by the Ruto government.

“Tulisema leo ni siku ya likizo lakini mambo bado. Tumeanza vita na kila jumatatu kutakua na maandamano na haitaisha hadi wakenya wapate haki yao,” said Raila on Monday.

At the same time, the opposition chief has called his supporters to boycott using Safaricom, KCB, and the Radio Africa Group services.

“We call for the boycott of Safaricom, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) and the Radio Africa Group particularity the Star Newspaper who have become enablers and facilitators of this brutal regime. These corporates have become the enemies of the people and are benefiting from the blood and tears of Kenyans,” Raila added.
