Betty Adera recently ditched KANU for UDA. 

Betty Adera, who was the former National Chairperson for KANU Women Congres, on Saturday, March 25 was among leaders who received President William Ruto in Migori County.  

Adera, who recently ditched KANU for UDA, said she was looking forward to reaching out to the current women leadership within the party to learn and work together in elevating the voices of women of Kenya.

"I join other political leaders from the region in ensuring the development of our region and uplifting the living standards of our people and believe that the Kenya Kwanza Govt led by HE Dr. William Samoei Ruto has the best intention and machinery to get this done," she stated.

President Ruto was in Migori County on Saturday where he launched and commissioned several projects. 

The Head of State commissioned the Senta-Nyamtiro-Isebania road (Phase I) in Kuria East and Nyabohanse - Kumumwamu road in Kuria West, Migori County.

"We are expanding our road network to stimulate rapid economic growth in the country by opening up our rural areas to opportunities. We will fast-track the completion of ongoing road projects and embark on new ones to increase our tarmac road network," President Ruto stated.
