"We choose which battles to engage," Nyoro.

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has told off Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga over his claims that there are plans to disrupt the Azimio protests.

Speaking on Saturday, March 25, Nyoro told the former Prime Minister that Kenya Kwanza politicians do not fear him.

He noted that the leaders do not have time in plotting against him but are instead working on projects that will help Kenyans.

“Sisi ni watoto wa maumau hutatutishwa na maandamano, hatujabeba watoto kwa mgongo na hakuna mkenya anaogopa mtu. The reason why we do not go around shouting is because we respect our country, we are busy launching projects that will benefit the people of Kenya hatukuogopi.

“Niliskia ukisema tunakupangia, yes we are fighters we are maumau but we choose which battles to engage we don’t fight charlatan battles we only fight real battles like the August 2022 election sio hii ya kurusha mawe. Sisi kama nikupanga haingehitaji watu watatu, mmoja tu anakuweza na maandamano yako,” he stated.

On Thursday, March 23, Raila claimed that he had information about a plot by Nyoro, Kimani Inchung’wah, and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to give youths allied to the Kenya kwanza government uniforms similar to Azimio's Movement for the Defence of Democracy (MDD) to enable them to blend with them during protests without being noticed.

Raila also alleged that the leaders instructed the youth to kill over a thousand Kenyans and blame it on him.
