This comes days after unknown people invaded the Kenyatta Family’s Northlands City land in the Kamakis area, Kiambu County, and stole over a thousand sheep before setting part of the farm on fire.

A group of rowdy youths on Thursday, March 30 attempted to invade Kedong ranch, which is linked to the Kenyatta family.

The attempts were thwarted by a joint team of police officers from Narok County who lobbed teargas canisters to disperse the invaders.

Narok County Commissioner Isaac Masinde told the media that he deployed the anti-riot officers to secure the ranch after he received reports of a planned invasion.

"We received reports that some members of the youth from the neighbouring community planned to invade the more than 75,000-acre expansive land and destroy property. We deployed anti-riot officers from 6 am. They thwarted the attempt by the youths to invade the land," said Masinde.
