This comes after the President William Ruto-led camp unveiled a seven-member team that will engage with the opposition during bi-partisan talks

Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has accused the Kenya Kwanza alliance of not being serious about holding bi-partisan talks with the opposition.

Ledama in a statement on Tuesday, April 11 stated that the Azimio camp would go back to the people due to the lack of seriousness by the Kenya Kwanza camp.

“The lack of seriousness of the by-partisan deliberation on the KK part is the straw that broke the camel's back! We are back to the people..,” said Ledama.

This comes after the President William Ruto-led camp unveiled a seven-member team that will engage with the opposition during bi-partisan talks.

The team includes; Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, Bomet Senator Hillary Sigei, and Tharaka MP George Murugara.

Other are nominated Senator Esther Okenyuri, Eldas MP Adan Keynan, Taita Taveta Women Rep Lydia Haika, and Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse.

National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi earlier poked holes at the team claiming that Keynan and Mutuse would sabotage the talks as their parties are still in the Azimio coalition.

"We are totally surprised and stunned by the fact that they have appointed Hon Adan Keynan who is a member of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition," said Wandayi.

He added, "Legally, Jubilee Party and Maendeleo Chap Chap remain bonified members of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition.”
