Mboya is said to have told police that she has forgiven her lover and his cousin

A lady who fell from the second floor of Kasarani Apartment has withdrawn a case in which her boyfriend was being accused of pushing her to the ground.

Cynthia Mboya is said to have been involved in a fight with her boyfriend Collins Kiptoo.

It is during the fight that Kiptoo and his cousin Ian Kipokorir are said to have pushed him from the second floor of the apartment.

Nairobi Leo has however learned that the victim told police that she is the one to blame for the tragedy.

She is said to have confessed that she is the one who caused the fracas after arriving at the apartment drunk and causing the argument that led to the incident.

She is said to have told police that she has forgiven her lover and his cousin over the incident and would not want to continue with the case.

"She told us that she did not want to proceed with the case since she had not broken any bone. She only had muscle pain which she said was under control even as she undergoes medication," a police report on the matter revealed.

The alleged statement is said to have led to the release of the two suspects. Police maintained that they are still investigating the case.

Some reports however claimed that a former CS who knows the two suspects could have played a role in the release of the two.

He is said to have asked the police handling the matter to assist the two.
