The thugs dressed in Administration Police uniform manage to steal KSh 5,000 only after striving to break into the safe.

Police in Machakos county are looking for a group of thugs who raided a fuel-filling station with the intent to steal. 

The men clad in police uniforms raided a Delta Petrol station where they terrorized the attendants.

They tied them and locked them in the toilet before making their way to the office.

They then strived to break into the room where the safe is kept but all was in vain.

The thugs failed in their efforts to break into the safe.

They robbed of the attendants KSh 5,000 after their efforts to break into the safe proved futile.

"One of them was really dressed as an Administration Police officer... they ransacked us and stole all the money we had. They returned our phones after that," one of them said.

The incident happened on the dawn of Saturday, April 22.
