The investigating officer revealed that the bank accounts were operating in the name of the church and school.

New Life Prayer Centre and Church pastor Ezekiel Odero has been handed a win after a Nairobi Court directed that he be granted access to his frozen accounts.

The investigating officer took the dock Monday morning and confirmed that all banks had complied and he had no issue with the pastor accessing his church accounts.

It was also established that of all the bank accounts that were frozen, none had the name of Pastor Ezekiel Odero.

"From documentation received none of the accounts were in the names of the pastor," inspector Martin Munene told the court.

Pastor Ezekiel was represented by lawyer Danstan Omari.

The accounts were frozen two weeks ago after the DCI sought to investigate the source of his monies.

The accounts were to be frozen for 30 days but a spirited fight by Pastor Ezekiel's lawyers saw the days reduced to 15.
