Kalonzo through his Command Centre Communications Lead Pauline Gatabaki said the report was fake.

Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has denied claims that he is supporting President William Ruto's Finance Bill 2023.

This comes after a local news site ran a screaming headline that the Wiper leader had differed with Azimio Chief Raila Odinga and backed the Finance Bill 2023.

But in a rejoinder to the misleading reports, Kalonzo through his Command Centre Communications Lead Pauline Gatabaki said the report was fake.

"There's fact and then there is fiction. The said website masquerading as a news site desperately falls in the latter. For the avoidance of doubt H.E. Kalonzo Musyoka, pronouncements on the anti-people Finance Bill 2023 have been very clear from the onset," Gatabaki said in a tweet that Kalonzo has since retweeted.

Kalonzo on Sunday weighed on the Finance Bill 2023 saying Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah had a right to move to court to challenge the Bill.

He said even though the Senator had moved to court, Kenyans must be left to have the final say on the Bill saying it is their judgement that matters in the long run.

Kalonzo also expressed fear that when the fight is being pushed by an individual, he or she can be bought by the current regime and the matter be dropped.

He said the matter must rest in the hands of Kenyans who must make the final stand on it to avoid disappointment when left in the hands of individuals.
