Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has said the order issued to rescue Nominated MP Sabina Chege from being ousted as Deputy Minority Whip is a testament to the wanting status of the Kenyan Judiciary.
Ahmednasir who has sustained an onslaught against the Judiciary, specifically Chief Justice Martha Koome, seemed to suggest the order had been acquired in an irregular manner.
"When I saw the controversial court order issued in the Hon Sabina Chege's case, I quickly realised court orders in Kenya are like chips sold over the counter in fast food restaurants...prepared quickly, served hot and available to all who can afford...it is a broken system!" Ahmmednasir tweeted.
Speaker Moses Wetangula in a ruling on Thursday said he had received an order blocking the removal of Sabina Chege while ruling on Azimio La Umoja's bid to replace Sabina.

Wetang'ula said while Azimio had followed all due processes, he was not able to grant them their wish owing to the court order.
"On the one hand, the minority party has met all procedural requirements to effect a change of its leadershi0, on the other hand, I'm confronted by a court of order that specifically cited the speaker and the Hoi3as parties that seems to challenge an administrative process," He ruled.
"My hands are therefore tied with regards to the court order that has been brought to my attention until and when further information is provided that this or elder has been varied or set aside, the court effectively Suspends the decision by the minority party on the removal of Sabina Chege as Deputy minority whip."
Azimio has been seeking to replace Sabina after having shifted to Kenya Kwanza side alongside other leaders of the Jubilee party.
