The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has appointed a new Magistrates Courts Registrar. 

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has appointed Kabucho Caroline Njeri as the new Registrar, Magistrates Courts.

JSC in a statement on Thursday, June 15 noted that the appointment took effect on May 31 after the commission finalized the selection process.

“Following the internal advertisement for the position of Registrar, Magistrates Courts, the Judicial Service Commission has finalized the selection process and is pleased to announce the appointment of Hon. Kabucho Caroline Njeri as the Registrar, Magistrates Courts. The appointment took effect on 31. May 2023,” read the statement in part.

Kabucho in her new role will be overseeing the coordination of support services in all Magistrates Courts.

Before her new appointment, Kabucho was serving as the Senior Principal Deputy Registrar, Judiciary.

She joined the Judiciary in 2003 as a District Magistrate II (Professional) and rose through the ranks serving in the positions of Resident Magistrate, Senior Resident Magistrate, and Principal Magistrate.

Kabucho holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Pune and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law.

Besides having twenty-one years of experience in the legal field, Kabucho also boasts vast expertise in strategic leadership and human resource management.
