Kenyans had varied reactions to the manner Joe Ageyo interviewed Miguna.

Veteran TV journalist Joe Ageyo has clapped back at critics who poked holes in his interview with lawyer Miguna Miguna.

The lawyer returned to Kenya on Thursday, October 20, after close to five years of being exiled in Canada.

On Friday, October 21, the fiery lawyer secured a date with NTV as his first media engagement.

To interview him would be Ageyo whose manner of steering the interview set tongues wagging.

The interview got heated at every moment as Miguna faulted the journalist for cutting him short frequently.

A section of Kenyans who followed the interview shared in Miguna's sentiments; they also faulted Ageyo for appearing to be butting in whenever Miguna would start responding to the questions posed to him.

However, defending himself, Ageyo took pride in his profession.

During the interview, Miguna specified the appointments he would not take from President William Ruto.

He said he would not abet the flouting of some provisions of the law by taking up certain appointments.

Miguna was categorical that he would avail himself for other state jobs other than the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) post which he holds is unconstitutional.

"It depends on which government appointment. Like for example, there are things I would not take. I don't appoint myself. The appointment would have to be proposed then I say why I take it or not," said Miguna.

"There are so many things I would not take. I won't take the illegal CAS position," he further stated.
