When will it happen? We don't want empty words and photo opportunity - Ahmednasir to Jalang'o.

Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi wants Lang'ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o to actualise all the projects he promises to his constituents.

The lawmaker is currently marshalling support from the national government to dual the road between Galleria Mall and Karen Crossroads.

He wants the government to expand section of Magadi Road that ends in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado county.

To exhibit his commitment to the projects, Jalang'o met with Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen with whom he said they deliberated on them.

"The dualing and expansion of Langata Rd from Galeria past Karen Hospital to Karen Crossroads will be a mega game changer. Early morning meeting with Cs Murkomen, Cs Owallo at the Transport Ministry headquarters," tweeted Jalang'o.

Reacting to the tweet, Ahmednasir petitioned to ensure the work is done beyond social media posts.

He went ahead to counsel him to entrust the projects to competent contractor with proven capacity to undertake them to completion.

"We don't want just manenos and photo opportunity...when will that happen? And don't give the job to those local briefcase contractors who usually give 60% of the contract price as bribe and runout of money after two months on the job with borrowed tractors!" said Ahmednasir.

Elected on ODM party ticket under Azimio La Umoja, Jalang'o has openly defied his political outfit to partner with the President William Ruto-led administration.
