President William Ruto has expressed his readiness to meet ODM leader Raila Odinga for dialogue.

In a tweet on Tuesday evening, Ruto said he is willing to talk to Raila once he returns to Kenya after the completion of his Tanzania tour on Wednesday.

"My friend Raila Odinga, I am off to Tanzania for a human capital meeting to harmonise the expansion of employment opportunities in our continent. I am back tomorrow evening, and as you have always known, am available to meet one on one with you anytime at your convenience," he tweeted.

The Statement by President William Ruto comes on the very day ODM leader Raila Odinga addressed a press conference and fired a scathing attack at President Ruto and his regime.

Ruto, who had vowed to deal with the ODM leader firmly, seems to have rescinded his hardline stance, a move that has been welcomed by so many Kenyans among them leaders.
