Kioni and Omar are said to have clashed during the bipartisan talks held on Thursday such that they nearly fought.

Jubilee Secretary General has apparently confirmed that there was a fierce clash between him and EALA MP Hassan Omar during the bi-partisan talks pitting the Azimio coalition against the Kenya Kwana Alliance.

Kioni who spoke to NTV on Thursday accused Omar of disrespecting the Gikuyus.

"He has no respect for Jubilee and the Gikuyus in Jubilee. He believes we should not be seated there. If h asks tulileta Kura ngapi hiyo sinikusema hatuna maana kuwa pale," he said.

The two are said to have brought the discussion to a standstill after they clashed fiercely.

Omar is said to have been angered by Kioni's remarks he made last week that the talks will head to nowhere.

Azimio Leaders Leaving the Bomas of Kenya after talks.

The talks held on Thursday are said to have hit a rock after Azimio proposed that the implementation of the Finance Act 2023 be halted to cushion Kenya from the high cost of living.

The stalemate was referred to the technical committee to address the issues concerned.

The talks team leadership however downplayed the clash with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka who leads the Azimio team saying there is tremendous progress made.

"I'm very impressed with the level of public optimism and engagement the National Dialogue Committee process has received since we started the Bipartisan talks at the Bomas of Kenya.

"This afternoon we received the report from the Technical Team ahead of the start of public engagement tomorrow. I am confident in the People's voice and their recommendations," Kalonzo stated.
