Three patients have succumbed to the covid-19 in the last 24 hours 

Health CS Mutahi Kagwe on Monday confirmed 65 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 2,681 tested in the last 24 hours, national now tally rises to 99,227. 

The cumulative tests done in the country now stands at 1, 128,360. Out of the 65 cases, 49 are Kenyans while 16 are foreigners. 

Three patients have succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours raising the fatality to 1734. 

On the same note, 77 patients recovered from the virus, 60 from home-based care while 17 from various hospitals. The total number of recoveries in the country now stands at 82, 427. 

697 patients are admitted at various hospitals countrywide while 1,680 are on home-based care. 

28 patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU), 13 on ventilatory support while 12 supplemental oxygen.
