EPRA has reduced the price of fuel for the month of November to December 14.

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has reduced the price of fuel for the month of November to December 14.

In a statement on Tuesday, November 14, the energy regulator said that the price of petrol will remain unchanged while that of Diesel and Kerosene will drop by Sh2.

"In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum pump price for Super Petrol remains unchanged while that of Diesel and Kerosene decreased by KShs2.00 per litre," part of the statement by Epra rea.

Accordingly, the price of Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene will retail at Kshs.217.36, 203.47 and 203.06 respectively in Nairobi County.

In Mombasa County, Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will trade at Ksh214.30, Ksh200.41 and Ksh199.99 respectively.

A section of Kenyans has recently hit out at President William Ruto's administration over the skyrocketing fuel prices in the country.

The fuel debate was exacerbated after Energy Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir hinted that the price of fuel could hit Sh300 per litre due to the Israel-Hamas war.

The remarks caused backlash from Kenyans with the majority raising concern over the high cost of living in the country. The price reduction in Diesel and Kerosene will come as a relief to many Kenyans.
