Brainstar Group of Schools in Isiolo County has been forced to delete its results after Kenyans on social media raised questions.

The school had shared its results on the social Media congratulating it's 2023 KCPE candidates for performing well.

"Congratulations to all our amazing students for their outstanding performance in this year's KCPE," he said.

"Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off. We are proud to be the best school in Isiolo County! Keep shining bright."

In the results posted, all students scored 75 marks in science.

The performance raised concerns on social media with Kenyans questioning how that could be possible.

This prompted Kenyans on social media to raise questions demanding that KNEC explains how that was possible.

And even as Kenyans demanded answers, the school seemed to have been put under pressure so much so that they pulled down the post.

Reports claim that the school cited computer error for the science results.

Over 1.4 million candidates sat for the 2023 KCPE exams which is the last in the era of the 8-4-4 system.

According to the CS, only 8,523 students scored over 400 marks

This represents a drop compared to the 2022 results where 9,443 candidates scored 400 marks and above.

352,782 candidates scored between 300-399 marks while 658,278 scored between 200-299 marks.

383,025 candidates scored between 100-199 marks while 2060 candidates scored between 001-099.

Machogu said only two candidates were involved in exam malpractices.

One had a note while the other had a mobile phone.
