The Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) has advertised several job opportunities that qualified Kenyans can apply.

In a notice seen by Nairobi Leo, KEFRI seeks to fill 26 job vacancies across various departments including researchers, laboratory technologists, and accountants among others.

“The institute wished to recruit dynamic, result-oriented and self-driven persons to fill the advertised positions,” reads the advert notice in part.

Positions to be filled are seed science research scientist (1), Forestry and environmental research scientist (1) principal human resource management officer (1), plant operator (1), artisan electrician (2), artisan plumber (2), assistant supply chain management officer (2), the laboratory technician (3), accountant (2), assistant administrative officer (2) and assistant office administrator (2).

Others are corporate communication officer (1), assistant ICT officer (1), assistant information scientist (1), research scientist (1), assistant laboratory technologist Integrated Pest Management (1), analytical chemistry (1), and microbiology (1).
