Over the past few weeks, Odinga and Ruto have been engaged in a heated exchange over performance of the Jubilee government.

Deputy President William Ruto has launched an attack at former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, accusing him of embarrassing his handshake partner President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking on Sunday at the Kenya Assemblies of God church in Dagoretti South, Ruto noted that Raila has been claiming to be Uhuru’s brother, therefore he should not use political rallies to criticize the latter’s government.

According to Ruto, since Raila has direct access to the President, he should face him and point out the concerns he has with his administration.

“If you have a problem with the performance of Jubilee government, I want to tell you to stop despising and humiliating President Uhuru. Stop talking to him in rallies… You are saying Uhuru is your brother, why are you embarrassing him in public saying the government has not done this or that,” Ruto said.

Odinga has been attacking the government including the DP for failing to deliver promises they made to the people. The DP on the other hand has been blaming Raila for interfering with the Jubilee administration thanks to his handshake with President Kenyatta.
