Kisii Woman Representative Dorice Donya escaped by a whisker after her motorcade was pelted with stones by unknown individuals.
Donya's motorcade was attacked late on Wednesday evening February 7, after she left a funeral service in Kisii.
Addressing the media, Donya revealed that her office car, registered in the name of Affirmative Action Fund, was pelted with stones, vandalizing its rear windscreen.
She blamed the attack on the current political heat in Kisii calling for urgent intervention.

"The security officers should investigate what is happening here in Kisii. This car which was stoned actually belongs to the government that is used to distribute cheques and monitor projects," she stated.
"If I am being stoned, then what will happen to other citizens who cannot afford to pay for security," Donya wondered.
Donya reported the incident at the nearby Ogembo Police Station.
The Woman Rep had made her speech at the funeral but was later booed as she tried to deliver a condolence message from the National Assembly Majority Chief Whip Slyvanus Osoro, who was not in attendance.
Tension remained high at the funeral which was also attended by Kisii Governor Simba Arati.
Others who condemned the attack advised the national government to intervene over the recent cases of insecurity in Kisii. They called on Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki to deploy a team in the area before the situation escalates out of hand.
Governor Arati and Osoro have been at the centre of political heat in Kisii with each pointing accusing fingers on the other.
In a recent incident, shots were fired as supporters of the leaders clashed during a political event in Kisii. The incident left several people injured.
