Kingori also served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before retiring from the public service in 2020.

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko eulogized Kingori as a top gun whom the sky was the limit in law enforcement.

Sonko disclosed that he met Kingori last week at Upper Hill together with the chairman of Regiment Club Peterson Maina, former Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal, and former Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Thuita Mwangi.

“I have just received some sad news that Kingori Mwangi has gone to be with the Lord. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” Sonko stated.
