The section of the road will be closed on Saturday, February 24, 2024, and Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm. 

 The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced temporary closure on Lang’ata Road between T-Mall roundabout and Madaraka Roundabout.

In a notice on Thursday, February 22, KeNHA said the section will be closed on Saturday, February 24, 2024, and Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm to facilitate road maintenance works along the section

“The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) wishes to notify the public that a section of Langata Road, along the service lane (Nyayo Stadium bound lane) between T-Mall Roundabout and Madaraka Roundabout will be closed. This follows planned road maintenance works along the section. The section will be closed on Saturday, February 24, 2024, and Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm,” read the notice in part.

The authority advised motorists to follow the proposed traffic management plan and cooperate with the police and traffic marshals on site.

Motorists from Raila Odinga Way, Mai Mahiu Road and Lang'ata Road heading towards Madaraka Roundabout are advised to take Ole Sangale Link or turn at T-Mall Roundabout and proceed to the U-turn just after Wilson Airport exit and take the Flyover towards Madaraka.
