ODM leader Raila Odinga was on Wednesday in Githurai to campaign for the building bridges initiative (BBI).

Odinga called out the Jubilee administration for failing to deliver their election pledges urging the residents to say no to wheelbarrows and support BBI. 

"Nimekuja nichukue memorandum yenu nipeleke kwa serikali. Unyakuzi wa shamba la soko hatutakubali, sasa nitafanya kazi yangu halafu nyinyi muangalie BBI,''the former premier told the gathering in Githurai. 

Odinga addressed and interacted with residents in Githurai, Kiambu County. 

"Government will construct a bridge over the railway line to allow Githurai residents cross over. This will be done ahead of the launch of the Githurai Modern Market by President Uhuru Kenyatta," Odinga said while he finalized his rally in Githurai.
