Odibets in partnership with Petanns, enrolled fifty young Kenyans in motorcycle training and licensing.

In the spirit of sharing during the Easter period, Kenya’s leading betting firm treated Kayole residents with goodies on Friday, March 29.

Joining the road safety campaign, Odibets in partnership with Petanns, enrolled fifty young Kenyans into motorcycle training and licensing.

At the same time, women were not left behind as betting firms enrolled twenty young ladies into beauty schools as a way of empowering and skilling them.

Speaking at the event, Odibets general manager Dedan Mungai noted that through their CSR initiative, they want to empower young people.

“These young people have talents and they need to be mentored and trained so that they can created a source of livelihood,” Mr. Mungai stated.


Odibets extended their support to small business owners by distributing merchandise including umbrellas and overalls for carwash guys in Kayole.

This comes days after the betting firm unveiled a sponsorship of upwards of Sh5 million for the Kenya Women 3X3 Basketball Team.

Odibets announced that the sponsorship would cover travel, the team’s merchandise, and meals.

The Kenya Women's 3x3 basketball team emerged as the African Champions on December 2, 2023, after beating Egypt in the final of the FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup 2023 held in Cairo.
