Nonetheless, the media personality cum businesswoman announced that she is set to open a new branch in Upperhill Nairobi.

Media personality Betty Kyalo has broken her silence after Flair by Betty Beauty Shop was put on auction.

In a statement, Kyalo lamented that the landlord refused to reduce rent for the property which made it difficult to keep her business running.

She attributed the decision to economic downtime which made her accumulate rent arrears leading to the auction.

"Obviously running a business in Kenya has become so difficult. Landlords don't want to reduce rent and it becomes a huge burden on businesses that are struggling because of the economic slowdown," she stated.
