The chaos started after Betty Maina and Eric Wamumbi addressed the residents who had gathered for the event.

Wamumbi had earlier requested Wamaua to exit the stage but the Maragua MP refused indicating that she was in charge of the event.

The response prompted the supporters of the two UDA legislators to engage in a physical altercation.

Amidst fracas, Wamaua was heard shouting blaming Maina and Wamumbi for causing disruption.

"Two people cannot come here and cause chaos. The event was calm before you arrived," Wamaua remarked while CS Jumwa was recorded on stage dancing.

Law enforcement officers were forced to intervene dispersing supporters of the two female lawmakers.

Their timely intervention prevented the chaos from escalating and causing damage.

By the time of this publication, the real cause of the chaos had not been established but preliminary reports indicate that Wamaua and Maina had not been seeing eye to eye causing political tensions at their events.
