Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has weighed in on the 2022 election, noting that the Jubilee party has picked ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi to fly its flag in the presidential race.

According to the Senior Counsel, Mudavadi will be deputized by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi. It is important to note that Ahmednasir did not provide any evidence to back his claims.

In addition, Jubilee has not made any such announcements, therefore this could be the Senior Counsel’s way of entertaining his over one million followers.

“My beloved Jubilee has settled on Musalia Mudavadi as its Presidential Candidate with Gideon Moi as his running mate...Official,” he tweeted.

His tweet has elicited massive reactions with netizens proposing alternative names they think will perform better than those listed by Ahmednasir.

Ahmednasir’s revelation comes at a time when President Uhuru Kenyatta who is the Jubilee Party leader announced that he does not owe anyone anything.


Speaking in Sagana on Saturday when he met nearly 7,000 delegates from the Mt Kenya region, President Kenyatta noted that he is only indebted to Kenyans.

“Some people keep saying I made a promise to them. No, I only have a promise and covenant with the people of Kenya… That is the promise I am implementing. Ask your guy why he can't allow me to do my work and keeps coming back for the baton, instead of waiting for his turn,” Uhuru said.
