The Kenya National and Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced the closure of a section of Kenol - Sagana Road.

In a statement to newsrooms on Wednesday evening, KeNHA said that they had closed the Nairobi-bound lanes along the Kenol - Sagana (A2) road due to heavy rains that had caused debris to fall.

"This follows the heavy rains that led to debris falling from back slope of the road section at Mugetho area," part of the statement read.

KeNHA advised motorists to share lanes with Sagana-bound traffic and adhere to instructions given by road marshalls as the authority works to restore normalcy.

"Motorists are advised to share lanes with the Sagana bound traffic and adhere to instructions provided by traffic marshals at the location," the statement adds.
