Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka on Tuesday almost ignited a confrontation with Johnson Muthama following the latter’s remarks on the ex-wife Agnes Kavindu.

Speaking during the burial of AIC Bishop Benard Nguyo in Machakos County, Kalonzo's statement on Kavindu seemed to have irked Muthama in the wrong way.

"After next year you will see Muthama running back to me. He knows where we are and where we are going. Even if he gets irritated, I will give him back his wife and tell him she’s now a senator,” Kalonzo said.

Following Kalonzo's remarks, Muthama rose from his seat and charged straight to the former VP.

However, Before the former Machakos senator could get to Kalonzo, Muthama was restrained by MPs Patrick Makau (Mavoko) and Victor Munyaka (Machakos Town).

Wiper Party recently unveiled Kavindu as the flagbearer for the Machakos senatorial race.
