  • Senator Susan Kihika got into a heated conversation with police officers who obstructed a UDA meeting in Makuru.
  • Police officers disrupted the meeting and went on to attack the Senator and her entourage with tear gas.

Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika got into an altercation with police officers on Saturday, February 20 2021.

Tangatanga leaders had congregated in London ward, Nakuru County for a UDA meeting that ended unceremoniously.

Police obstructed the meeting claiming that they had not been informed of the meeting prior to Kihika and her team landing at the ward.

However, MPs Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati) and John Kiarie (Dagoretti North) had accompanied Kihika when police disrupted the meeting.

The politicians tried talking to the police OCPD explaining that they had notified authorities of the letter adding they had a video of a policewoman accepting their notification.

But the police declined to allow the meeting and fired teargas at the crowd to disperse them.
