Ndindi Nyoro: I have not received any summon I have only read Twitter handles and I want to tell Matiang’i, Kinoti Mutyambai and Kibicho that I am busy… I have no time to come record statement

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has vowed that he will not submit himself to the police over violence that was witnessed in Murang’a leaving two people dead.

In an interview on Tuesday morning at Citizen TV, Nyoro noted that he was not involved in the violence and as such, he has no business presenting himself to the police.

The vocal legislator dared the police to arrest him, stating that he is at his home, and if they need him, they can go get him.

“I am not surrendering to police and I will not be used by murderers to cleanse their mess. They can track my phone…they know my whereabouts… They know for sure I was not involved. If you need me, I am here at home, please come and arrest me,” said Nyoro.

Nyoro, Wahome Ignore DCI summons

On Sunday, the police issued a statement directing Nyoro and his Kandara counterpart Alice Wahome to appear before the DCI on Monday, but both leaders ignored the directive.

According to Nyoro, he did not receive any summon, further noting that he is a busy man, and has no time to waste recording statements.

“I have not received any summon I have only read Twitter handles and I want to tell Matiang’i, Kinoti Mutyambai and Kibicho that I am busy… I have no time to come record statements,” he said.
