"They are making too much noise about it in the so-called tribunal.”

Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has confirmed that indeed his allies visited the Cherera Four at a popular City Hotel in Nairobi.

In an interview with Citizen TV, Raila divulged that the visit by his allies was to try and understand what had happened now that the four IEBC commissioners had rejected results announced by IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati.

The four are former Vice Chair Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyangaya, Francis Wanderi and Commissioner Irene Masit.

Cherera, Nyangáya and Wanderi resigned after they were suspended from office. Masit is now on trial.

“The politicians were justified to visit these commissioners because they were saying No. Our people were actually justified in finding out the truth because that was already ex post facto. The result had already been announced by Mr Chebukati,”  Raila stated.
