Veteran journalist and News Anchor Catherine Kasavuli has passed away aged 60, KBC acting Managing Director Samuel Maina has confirmed.
Kasavuli lost her life to cancer which she has been battling for the last few months.
She breathed her last at Kenyatta National Hospital
She was admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital where she has been undergoing medication.
The legendary journalists inspired a generation of journalists having worked with KTN News and Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation.

Kasavuli was admitted to the facility on October 26. She was battling cervical cancer.
Kenyans from all walks of life have mourned Kasavauli and praised her for having an impressive career.
" Today on behalf of my family I wish to convey my sincere condolences to Veteran journalist and former prime-time news anchor Catherine Kasavuli who has died following a battle with cancer. May the Almighty God rest her soul in eternal peace. May He give strength to her family during this difficult period they're undergoing," Sonko mourned.

"I am glad I had the opportunity to know her and have girl talk when she did some consulting work for KTN News. She used to do her coaching sessions next to my office and we had amazing conversations. Catherine was calm, gentle and always smiling. We used to carry packed food from home and have lunch together as we chatted. May her soul RIP."
