NTV political journalist Kennedy Murithi has announced his departure from Nation Media Group (NMG).
In the statement on Saturday, December 31, Murithi disclosed that today would be his last day at NTV adding that he was leaving NMG a happy man.
"Today marks my last day at NTV. It has been a good journey. I leave a happy man, knowing I have left a mark in journalism," he stated.
Murithi will now take over as Tharaka Nithi County political advisor following his appointment by Governor Muthomi Njuki.
"I'll now be Muthomi Njuki's political advisor and will also deal with media relations," the journalist said.
