The death toll rose to 751 after three more patients succumbed to the virus.
Speaking at Trans Nzoia County Referral Hospital in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County, CAS Aman announced that 51 patients were discharged after full recovery.
Recoveries
He said 29 were discharged from various hospitals and 22 from the home-based care programme bringing the total number of recoveries to 31,710.
Dr Aman urged Kenyans not to lower their guard in the fight against Covid-19.
“I appeal to the public not to lower their guard in fighting the disease,” he said on Thursday.
He particularly urged people to avoid social and political gatherings, adding that leaders need to set the right example.
