Media personality Jamila Mohamed's husband Ahmed Farah has landed another job months after President William Ruto appointed him a member of the National Investment Council. 

In a tweet on Sunday, Farah disclosed that he had been appointed a member of the Mombasa Investment Board.

Farah lauded Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir for the appointment even as he express confidence that he will diligently discharge his mandate.

"I take this opportunity to thank Governor Abdulswamad Nassir for appointing me as a member of the Mombasa Investment board. I look forward to working with the Mombasa county government and the National Government leadership in facilitating investments and business opportunities in Mombasa," he said.

Farah worked as the economic advisor of Mombasa county between October 2014 and May 2016.

He also worked as a Director at Deloitte and Touche, East Africa between October 2012 to September 2014.

Farah made entry into management while working at Pricewaterhouse Coopers between October 1999 to December 2009.

He is a certified internal auditor and a certified public accountant.

He holds an MA in International Development (Poverty, Conflict, and Reconstruction) from the University of Machester (2007-2008).

He did his bachelor's degree in commerce and accounting at Kenyatta university between 1994 and to1998.
