Kalonzo's son was in the company of a senior Machakos county official at the time of the accident.

One of Kalonzo Musyoka's children survived an accident at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Saturday, January 21.

The son whose identity has remained under wraps was in the company of the Machakos Trade CEC Sharon Nthoki at the time of the accident.

He was aboard a BMW X5 when an oncoming truck rammed into it.

The Wiper leader's son sustained minor injuries.

While wishing quick recovery to Kalonzo's son, former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko accused the truck driver of driving while drunk.

There was no fatality reported out of the accident.

"The devil is a liar. Quick recovery to all Wiper leaders including HE Kalonzo's son who has just been involved in a road accident at JKIA primary screening yard after a drunk truck driver lost control and hit their car from behind," said Sonko.

Also on the scene was Machakos governor Wavinya Ndeti who appeared to have caused a scene following the accident.

Luckily, no fatality was reported in the accident.

Kalonzo was yet to issue a statement following as photos taken from the scene went viral on social media.
