The developments come in the wake of calls by Ruto allies to probe the Kenyatta and Moi families for allegedly being tax cheats.

Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has poured cold water on Lawyer Danstan Omari's warning to President William Ruto over heeding calls by his allies to go after his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta.

This is after Omari cautioned Ruto against going after Uhuru terming the move as a huge blunder in an interview with NTV on Wednesday, February 1.

Omari argued that Uhuru and Raila have huge networks globally which President William Ruto is yet to make.

“We have a new regime that wants either to drag Uhuru Kenyatta to court, as lawyers we will make money to defend Uhuru in court but what will be the impact? The retired president has a lot of force globally. We are looking at two serious international figures Raila Odinga combined with Uhuru Kenyatta globally they control eighty percent of the networks while William Ruto is a local president with a local cabinet,” Omari stated.

It was his comments that seemingly tickled Ahmednasir who appeared to dismiss Omari's notion on the matter.

Omari's comments also seem to have irked Lawyer Miguna Miguna who reacted to it by saying:

"This Quack, Danstan Omari, and his silliness!"
