Lipa na MPesa and paybill are among the services that will be unavailable.

Safaricom has announced scheduled maintenance on its mobile money product.

Mpesa will undergo maintenance on the dawn of Sunday, February 19.

Through a statement on Twitter, the telecommunications giant announced some of its services will be unavailable between 1:30 am and 2:30 am.

The services to be affected include Lipa na MPesa services, paybill and buy goods, international money transfers, Mpesa Super App and pinless top ups.

"As we continue to deliver more innovations to our customers and support their needs as they evolve, we will be carrying out planned network maintenance on the morning of Sunday, February 19," Safaricom announced.

All other services will be available as usual.
