Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua meets leaders from Nyamira and Kisii Counties. 

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has reiterated the Kenya Kwanza administration’s quest for inclusivity saying every part of the country will not be left behind in development. 

Speaking on Monday, February 20, at Harambee House Annex when he hosted leaders from Kisii and Nyamira Counties for consultations on the regions’ development agenda, the DP said they would strive to work with all leaders no matter their political affiliations.

The Deputy President stated that the government was only interested in equitable development, promising the leaders their commitment to ensure the region gets a deserving share of national resources.

“President William Ruto has opened the door for those ready to work with his administration because his sole interest is to ensure development in every part of the country,” he said.

The leaders pledged their support for the administration saying different political associations will not stop them from working with the government.
