The security operation in the county, which was dubbed ‘Rudisha Amani Marsabit’, was launched following a streak of indiscriminate attacks by bandits on members of the public in the region.

The police further maintained that the curfew which is being imposed in the area would remain in place.

They further commended the members of the public for their support as the service strives to restore normalcy in the region.

The region has been experiencing banditry attacks in the past few weeks, with innocent locals losing their lives and others heavily wounded.
