"It shall be an eye for an eye. Prepare your files well," he said.

Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has told the State that nobody in Azimio La Umoja is planning to run away from this country.

In a tweet, Junet said those facing accusations are ready for court battles to defend themselves

In response to Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi's comments on Former CS Ukur Yatani's defence against alleged looting, Junet said they are ready to take the bull by its horns.

"SC be duly informed that no one from the previous regime is planning to run Away. All prepared to defend themselves. It shall be an eye for an eye. Prepare your files well," he said.

In his defence, Yatani blasted Controller of Budget Margaret Nyakang'o saying her alleged exposé was defamatory.

He denied pushing for irregular payments saying the amounts requested had been captured in a supplementary budget.

"For the Controller of Budget to suggest that I pressured her to authorise some payments without parliamentary approval is therefore calculated malice," Yatani said, warning that he is considering taking legal action against CoB, Margaret Nyakang'o.

"If there is any doubt in the mind of the public regarding the said expenditure, I invite the constitutional office of the Auditor General to scrutinise this expenditure. And I am confident that she will vindicate my actions," Yatani said.

But reacting to his defence, Ahmednasir said the former CS was telling the current regime there is nothing they can do to him.

"By releasing this letter (of course with the permission of retired President Uhuru and the blessing of Hon Raila), Hon. Ambassador Ukur Yatani tells H.E Williams Ruto "you can't touch me..."," the lawyer said.
