Karua warned President Ruto against using police officers to harass any protestor, noting that he would be taken to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua has requested Police officers not to harass Azimio la Umoja supporters during demonstrations.

Speaking on Friday, March 10 during a rally in Migori, Karua told the police officers that they go through the same problems as other Kenyans.

The former Justice and Legal Affairs Minister urged the officers to let Azimio leaders fight for them.

Wewe officer uko na shida kama hawa wanachi wacha tukutetetee,” said Karua.

At the same time, Karua warned President Ruto against using police officers to harass any protestor, noting that he would be taken to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“Onyo kali kwa William Ruto, ukiguza hawa wananchi ujue utangojewa kule hague. Na wewe askari usipotoshwe upelekwe hague na mtu ambaye ashaienda hague,” she added.

Karua further warned the Supreme Court over charging Jubilee secretary-general Jeremiah Kioni over his remarks that Raila won the 2022 presidential election.

The Azimio la Umoja co-principal noted that she would defend the former Ndaragwa MP if he appears before the apex court.
