Simiyu Robinson Wanjala from Murang'a High School has topped the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams. 

Education CS George Magoha announced while releasing the 2020 KCSE examinations results at Mitihani House on Monday. 

"Top student is from Murang'a High School, Simiyu Robinson Wanjala who scored 87.334," CS Magoha announced. 

Here is the list of the top 15 performers in the 2020 KCSE exams. 

1. Simiyu Robinson Wanjala scored 87.334 

2. Wasonga Allan scored 87.173

4. Muriasi Rob with 87.139

5. Esther Mbugua with 87.113

The results were announced on Monday, May 10, 2021, by Education CS Prof George Magoha.

According to the Education CS, 893 candidates tied with Grade A. Magoha said 143,140 KCSE candidates scored university entry grade of C+ and above.

No school had its exams cancelled but, 287 candidates had no results. 211 candidates had unauthorized materials in the exam room, including 45 mobile phones.

Candidates can access their results through their individual exam centres or by texting their index number, KCSE to SMS 20076.
