Police officers have arrived at the family proper of former President Uhuru Kenyatta's family in Ruiru, also known as Northlands City.

The officers arrived at the farm on Tuesday morning, 24 hours after intruders invaded the farm, looted the premises and destroys properties by cutting down trees.

The youths were armed with power saws and machetes breached the fence and invaded the 11,000-acre land, openly cutting down trees in the glare of the media.

Pictures seen by Nairobi Leo showed the officers standing at the farm; which hosts Brookside Dairy company and Peponi International school.

Already, workers at the farm resumed their duties Monday.

They were filmed destroying makeshift houses built by the intruders on Monday.

Properties of unknown value were destroyed during the looting.

Sheep were also stolen and sold to motorists passing by.

A separate attack was staged at East Africa Spectre Ltd — Opposition chief Raila Odinga's gas plant located in Industrial Area — where thugs ferried in motorbikes shattered the property's glass windows.

The company said the hoodlums were being supported by four unmarked Land Cruiser vehicles.

“We suspect the target was our managing director [Ida Odinga] because her office has suffered the biggest damage,” Spectre security boss Humphrey Waswa told journalists

CCTV footage released by the company shows a number of youths brazenly hurling stones at the company premises, their motorbikes on standby.
