Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki is the best performing CS in the Kenya Kwanza according to the latest opinion poll by Tifa survey firm.

In the report released on Wednesday, March 29, Kindiki had an overall score of 29 percent followed by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu with 10 percent and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi at 4 percent.

Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi and Youth Affairs, Sports and Arts CS Ababu Namwamba tied at 3 percent to close the top five list.

“Among those respondents who indicated they could rate any member of the Cabinet (83%), most (26%) mentioned Prof. Kithure Kindidi (Interior) as the "best performing" so far.

The only others with more than a handful of mentions were Ezekiel Machogu (Education 10%) and Musalia Mudavadi, Ababu Namwamba and Mithika Linturi following (with 4%, 3% and 3%, respectively ),” Tifa stated.

The survey also indicated that the Hustler Fund program received more mentions as an early success of the Ruto government.

Other programs that were mentioned include; subsidized fertilizer, greater national unity and enhanced security.

According to Tifa research analyst Tom Wolf, the survey was conducted between March 11 and March 19, 2023. The survey involved 2,065 respondents.

"It was a national household survey. People were interviewed in their homes, not on the streets and there were no phone call interviews either," said Wolf.
